K9 Unit Attachment [1-3 December 2009]

This work attachment has given me more opportunities to interact with the K9 Unit staff and understand the operation of the K9 Unit. For example, how the dogs are being used in handling cases and how the used the different dogs' talent to nab the criminals. For me, this is a very great opportunity as I seldom have contact withbig dogs. During this attachment, I have learnt the proper way of walking a dog, grooming it, and many more. The dog that was being attached to me has different traits as compared to the others. This attachment allows me to have hands-on experiences that enables me to learn more.
